What is the 50/50 raffle?
The 50/50 raffle is the ultimate win-win. When you purchase a 50/50 ticket, half the proceeds go to the grand prize jackpot, and the other half goes directly to the Zawyer Sports Foundation's programming in the community.
What kind of programming does my purchase support?
The Zawyer Sports Foundation uses the power of sport to improve the lives of youth facing barriers in their communities. This includes children living with disabilities, underserved youth, and young people who may not otherwise have the chance to participate in organized programs.
When does the raffle open and close?
The raffle goes live when doors open for the game and closes with 10 minutes left in the 3rd period.
How much are raffle tickets?
$10 for 5 tickets / $20 for 20 tickets / $40 for 100 tickets / $100 for 300 tickets
How can I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets from 50/50 reps walking the concourse or online by scanning the QR code on the videoboard. Online purchases can be made with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
Who is eligible to purchase 50/50 tickets?
Individuals who meet the following criteria are eligible:
Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase
Must be located within an eligible jurisdiction at the time of purchase
Must not be a member of the foundation's Board of Directors or a full-time or part-time employee of the foundation
Must not be an employee of the gaming regulator or the 50/50 system supplier involved in system development or support
Can I get a tax receipt for my ticket purchase?
Unfortunately, no. Raffle ticket purchases are not tax-deductible because you receive a chance to win a prize in return.
I purchased a ticket online but didn't receive my numbers. What should I do?
Check your junk or spam folders first. If you still don't see your tickets, contact the Greensboro Gargoyles Front Office and we'll resend your raffle numbers (verification will be required).
How do I find out if I have the winning number?
The winning number will be posted on the Greensboro Gargoyle's social media channels and website following the game. If the winning ticket was purchased online, our team will also reach out to the winner directly.
Do I need to be present to win?
No, you do not need to be present to win.
How do I claim my prize?
If you purchased your ticket online, a member of our team will contact you with details on how to claim your prize. For all other winning tickets, contact the Greensboro Gargoyles Front Office at (336) 365-0295 or info@gargoyleshockey.com. All prizes must be claimed within 10 days of the game. Unclaimed prizes will be donated to another charitable organization
